Sales Contract

The following agreement is between _______________________________, hereafter referred to as "Breeder" and __________________________________, Address ______________________________________________________________, Telephone Number: _________________________Hereafter referred to as "Purchaser(s)".

For the total sum of _______________________________ ($ ), the breeder transfers in simple rights, privileges and responsibilities associated with the ownership of the Male/Female Dog of the Manchester Terrier breed, Whelp Date: _____________ American Kennel Club (AKC) Registration Name__: __________________________________________, AKC Registered Number: ____________________________ here in referred to as "Dog."

Any violation of this contract as outlined below will be dealt with in the manner as stated.

Dog will remain in AKC Registration co-ownership with Breeder and Purchaser(s) until such time as the Dog attains the title of American Kennel Club Champion of Record. Upon achieving the title of American Kennel Club Champion of Record, Breeder will transfer ownership of the Dog to Purchaser(s) sole ownership and AKC registration.

Dog may not be spayed/neutered without the Purchaser(s) first obtaining written permission from the Breeder to spay/neuter the Dog.

Dog will be maintained as a family companion not to be relegated to kenneling away from the Purchaser(s) personal living accommodations.

Purchaser(s) agrees that this Dog will not be used for breeding purposes prior to attaining the American Kennel Club (AKC) Conformation title of "Champion of Record" and not before the dog is Two(2) years of age. Should a breeding(s) occur with this dog, prior to the dog attaining the conformation title of AKC "Champion of Record" or Two (2) years of age, whether accidental or deliberate physical possession/ownership and AKC Registration of this dog will revert Breeder.

Dog will not be bred to any dog that possesses/displays disqualification attributes as outlined in the AKC Standard for the American Manchester Terrier.

This Dog "can not" be resold or placed elsewhere, should Purchaser(s) decide to relinquish ownership of this dog at any time during its life for any reason other than those directed by law, AKC Registration and physical possession/ownership reverts to Breeder. Purchaser(s) agrees to return dog to Breeder as fast as possible by safest means possible that will not endanger the life, welfare or well being of dog. All costs incurred for the return of the dog as well as any expense resulting from medical treatment and/or training, reconditioning or socialization will be the responsibility of Purchaser(s).

Should Purchaser(s) or any household member be charged with animal cruelty/abuse or any act that is contrary to humane and responsible treatment of animals, this dog's physical possession/ownership and AKC registration will revert to Breeder. The same applies should any member of the house (renters included) be found to engage in breeding companion animals for profit or as any form of commerce/brokering or other third party sales arrangements.

Purchaser(s) is responsible for:

a) keeping this dog up to date on all immunizations and to be kept parasite free (i.e., heartworm, tapeworm, fleas etc)

b) annual check up by a licensed veterinarian,

c) maintenance consisting of feeding with a nutritionally stable canine diet including meat and supplement when necessary to maintain in correct weight (good flesh cover).

d) providing whatever training necessary to ensure this dog's physical well being and emotional/social stability

e) maintaining the living quarters for this dog in a climate controlled area of no lower than 32 degrees Fahrenheit or no more than 85 degrees Fahrenheit

f) provide a permanent fenced in enclosure on Purchaser(s) property of a minimum 36" in height or wireless fencing system

g) dog is not to be chained and will not be housed in a kennel run/fenced yard outside the physical residential structure of the purchaser(s) other than for exercise purposes.

h) for exercise purposes only, dog will be kept within the confines of a fenced-in enclosure/wireless fencing system or on a leash held by a responsible person when outside the confines of the Purchaser(s)'s residence or required fenced-in property.

This is a mutual agreement between Breeder and Purchaser(s). All terms and conditions of this are binding and non-negotiable. Should the terms of this agreement be violated, whether incidentally or deliberately, Breeder will pursue options as stated in the Agreement to the fullest. Further should it become necessary to pursue legal action to fulfill terms of this agreement, Purchaser(s) will be held liable for any and all legal fees and court costs. All travel/shipping expenses (transportation, health certificate, veterinarian, and shipping container), placement costs, maintenance costs, boarding, medical and associated miscellaneous costs related to this dog will be the responsibility of Purchaser(s).

By my signature I affirm that I have read, discussed and understand the terms and conditions of this agreement. Further, I agree to the terms and conditions of this agreement. I am aware of and fully understand the possible consequences of breaching this agreement. I/We sign this agreement of my/our own free will and without duress.
